About

Have you ever stopped what you were doing to watch a butterfly as it fluttered by? Or noticed a bird as it flew overhead and tracked it with your eyes until it landed? Whether you live in a rural or urban setting, if you walk outside during daylight hours, chances are you will encounter many forms of wildlife. From birds and squirrels, to butterflies and bees, humans and wildlife cross paths constantly. This is what I call wild passing thru. Fancy equipment and special skills are not necessary to enjoy the beauty and wonder of animals that we come across during our daily activities. Anyone can become a bird, butterfly, or wildlife watcher by simply listening and looking at their surroundings. This is how I discovered my passion for the wild passing thru my home.

A used Canon Rebel T-6 digital camera has become my tool to document and share the amazing world of animals I see through my lens. Animals are not so different from humans in expressing their feelings and emotions through body language and sound. Hunger, fear, curiosity, anger, nurturing instinct towards young; capturing a moment in a still image that tells a story is the challenge I enjoy in photographing wildlife of all types.

You do not have to travel to experience wildlife. I hope my images inspire you to step outside, view your surroundings with a fresh perspective, and appreciate the wild passing thru!
